Streem makes it easy to connect your Social Media accounts to ensure you can manage and control your social calendar.
Connecting your social accounts
Navigate to the set-up page by clicking on your initials at the top left corner of the Organisation, and then to the Integrations tab. Note: You must be a 'Super' user to be able to connect new social accounts to the Platform.
Additionally, if you have not connected any Social Media accounts, the Engage page will have the option for you to do so and take you to the Integrations page.
Accounts can be added for Facebook, Instagram, X | Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Bluesky. After selecting a platform, the user will enter their username and password in a separate tab and then return to Streem Social Engage.
Managing social accounts
To manage your connected social accounts, click on the Manage Integrations button on the bottom right of each Social Media type.
Add a new account by navigating to the Add Accounts tab:
To remove an account, click on the ellipsis and select Remove Integration:
Integration Expiry
Some social media integrations require periodic re-authentication to remain active. This is due to the security and permission policies set by each social platform.
Integration expiry periods by channel:
Facebook / Instagram / LinkedIn - Integrations expire every 60 days
TikTok - Integrations expire every 12 months
Twitter / X - Integrations do not expire.
If an integration expires, simply reconnect the account by clicking Update Integrations.
Please note: an authentication process will have to be followed before reintegrating.
